Before I started working with Rebecca Ronane, I was finding it difficult to define my most important goals and to clarify my route to achieving them. Forever ambitious, I was juggling too many urgent but not important tasks and had little time to consider my strategy for business growth and development.
Rebecca has helped me to focus on the tasks that will lead to my goals more quickly, and identify the best route to reach these goals. She has particularly encouraged me to recognise the value of my team, what to delegate and to whom, freeing me up to take on a more directorial role.
If you’re on the fence about whether you should have a coach, I can highly recommend a session with Rebecca.
“I can tell you that for me the experience was positive, constructive and dynamic, interacting with a group of smart and autonomous ladies.
I particularly appreciated the layout you set out for each session which you conducted with professionalism and respect towards each of us.
I felt secure to be part of your group and to discuss personal issues and situations with other women.“
Looking back now at what I perceived to be my values, I understand (through activating values inherent within me) my initial list were aspiring values, values continue to evolve and with self awareness (my number two value) we identify those aspects of the self that require encouragement or development.
I was surprised to see how my values have evolved in recent years as I’ve left behind traditional expectations and moved more towards a holistic way of working and being.
Understanding these values has given me an interesting view of how I operate in and with the world, how I make decisions, choose projects and interact with people.
I highly recommend this exercise to understand and review ones values, which will lead to better prospective partnerships, both personal and professional.”
Through voicing these thoughts and fears and hearing other people’s worries, sharing with good humor and laughter, guided by Rebecca, I found that they started to fall away, particularly through breaking down and challenging each thing that stopped me from moving forward and realizing myself.
It is so helpful to “unpack” those things that get in our way, writing down the fears, re organizing thoughts, managing to take step after step which brake down the fears. And the knowledge that there are other women doing the same with whom you can share the experience.
